Campfire Baked Potato Fail
That time I baked a potato in the fire while almost roughing it in Death Valley National Park, California, USA.
So why was this a fail?
According to The Food Network, campfire potatoes only need to be in the coals for approximately 1 hour or so depending on the temperature of the fire. My potato probably roasted for a good 4-5 hours until the fire went out.
Perhaps if I had a little herbed sour cream as they suggest, my potato could have been saved. Hmmm…..next time.
