Over the last 35 years I have visited 26 countries and 47 of the U.S. states, including 24 national parks and countless national monuments and state parks. I strive to be a traveler not a tourist, get out of my comfort zone and really experience the culture of my destinations. Along the way, I have developed some travel tricks that I am excited to share with you in this blog. When I am not on the road, I enjoying being a self-employed graphic designer, digital marketer, tap tender at a craft farm brewery, and foster mom to feral kittens with a local cat rescue. Home base is Frederick, Maryland, USA with my hubby, best friend, and travel buddy of 29 years Frank and my two “foster fail” cats Boo & Lynx Rufus.
